Karling Roberts won first place and Sebastian Theis won second place for Best Poster at Northern Research Day at the Univesity of Alberta. Morag McPherson won second place for best oral presentation. These awards were assessed by a panel of judges during Northern Research Day symposium on campus. Great job team!

Michael Terry (not shown) and Caitlyn Donadt (shown) were awarded “Profiling Alberta Graduate Students” Travel Award. This is a competitive award given to a student/s at the University of Alberta to highlight their research. Both Michael and Cait will be presenting their research at this year’s Canadian Conference for Fisheries Research in London, Ontario. Great job Michael and Caitlyn.

Two members of the PoeschLab, Caitlyn Donadt and Michael Terry, were awarded Queen Elizabeth II graduate awards from the province of Alberta. These scholarships reward the high level of achievement of students pursuing graduate studies in Alberta. Great job team!
